Big-headed Boy

Ha, this title reminds me of the Weasley twins putting "Big" on Percy's Head Boy badge so it reads "Big Head Boy." Fitting, since it is HARRY POTTER MONTH! But more on that later...

my handsome guy
Stockton is nine months old! What a champ. He loves his blue blankie, laughing at peekaboo, watching his sister, and listening to music. He is getting closer to crawling and standing up against furniture. He sits up, but his head pulls him down sometimes so he's not entirely reliable. Speaking of his noggin: it has been growing a little faster than his other measurements for the past months and the doctor wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure there wasn't some sort of underlying issue...we went to Saint E's and got him all checked out and he is good to go, but it made us nervous! We are grateful for healthy children and each other. So, looks like Mr. Stomp just has a big head!

attacking his mum-mum (a thin rice cracker that dissolves quickly) - he loves them!

It seems like he has grown up a ton in just the past little while. If you take away his toy and put it somewhere else, he reaches for it and knows exactly where it can't pull that trick on him anymore! He reacts more strongly to different things, so he's paying more attention and forming opinions about events and people and things. If there is music on (especially in a movie) he will try to find the source; he loves rolling and dumping the box of toys on him and all over the floor; he loves looking in the mirror and has a blast in the bath.

Isn't he the sweetest? We are such pals. He brings joy wherever he goes...I hope he stays content and easy-to-please!

And of COURSE he loves his Daddy! He gets SOOOOO excited, flailing every limb and laughing and babbling when he sees his daddy. It's the best! (And their matching blue eyes...I mean, come on!)
