I've missed our zoo pass this summer. We used it to death last year but didn't get a new one because we weren't sure how much we'd use it with a newborn.

BUT! We made it at least once! And we went all out, going to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo instead of the Lincoln Children's Zoo. Thanks to Kat for getting us in and playing with us!

Stockton LOVED the see-through barriers and was furious every time I picked him up to go to the next section. He could have stayed in the rainforest all day. Jack was a trooper and hung out with me most of the time.

Another hit, of course: the waterfall. What is it with kids and water? When do we lose the fascination with getting wet? As adults I feel like we avoid getting wet at all costs.
haha! kat is hilarious
lunch time! we packed sandwich supplies and between two adults, three toddlers, and two babies we ate everything we brought. well actually the babies just had milk, ha. but it was that really satisfying "I'M SO HUNGRY THIS IS THE BEST PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY SANDWICH I'VE EVER HAD" type meal that only lengthy, child-wrangling adventures inspire.

The fish are super jealous of his sweater

"Mmm, that fish looks tasty!"
...the last three captions were written by Austin after I left the unfinished post up haha. The fish are super jealous of his sweater, good one babe.
