Daddy's Girl

For the past 3 months, I have been having at least one baby dream every night. They started one day after Jessie and I discussed what my role was going to be during the whole labor process. I asked if she wanted me to do the whole La'mar's breathing thingy, and she said she'd probably smack me if I tried to make her breathe a certain way. She basically told me that my job was to get her to the hospital, hold her hand, and give her back scratchies until the baby pops out. That night, I had a dream that she and I were driving to the hospital, but everything was going wrong. The car wasn't running very well; the automatic doors at the hospital weren't opening and I had to force them open; the security guard tried to apprehend me; basically, everything was going very, very wrong. Luckily I was able to grab the guard's tazer, and I threatened to taze anybody else who got in my way. The dream ended right about then, so I never got to taze anybody, and I never got to see my baby either. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to hang out with baby practically every night since then:) Last week, I dreamed that I was feeling Jessie's stomach because baby was moving. I pushed down on her stomach for some strange reason, and all of a sudden I felt her water break! Amniotic fluid was getting everywhere! But then the baby came sliding out, and we forgot all about the amniotic fluid. We had our baby! But then I woke up again, and I was sad.

Anyway, I am super excited to be a daddy. Jessie is going to have Tuesday and Thursday classes, so I get baby all to myself on those days! I'm so excited:) Baby and I are going to have so much fun.

Baby and I are going to go swimming all the time!

My favorite dress. It has ducks on it! She will be wearing it at least every sunday.

These are the outfits baby will be wearing when she is not wearing duck dress. One says, "Daddy adores me." Another says, "Daddy's sweetie." The third one says, "Daddy's Girl," and the elephant one says, "My heart belongs to Daddy."

Baby is going to love bath time!

Baby chilling in her Big Bopper pillow.

Baby's first book: Star Wars ABCs! (Thanks Ananda) Baby is probably going to be able to read before she can walk.

Baby's second book:) She really likes Star Wars. We are going to read all day.

Baby's favorite bedtime story.

Unfortunately, baby is being obstinate, and she refuses to come out. Mommy and Daddy are both getting very anxious; we really just want to hang out with her right now.
