A Peek at the Poulsens

While this "little" man has never really been "little," we were still floored to hear that he weighs over FIFTEEN POUNDS at two months...holy chunker! He hardly ever has gas problems anymore (hallelujah!), has started to smile and coo (the best!), and sleeps as well as can be expected (one five-hour stretch and more before and after). We are grateful that he is in our family - I'm LOVING getting to know him better and see more of his personality come out. Prepare for an onslaught of pictures, oldest to newest...  the process of waking up... We love this guy - so mellow and relaxed.  I will never get tired of pictures of our beautiful children! No apologies for the amount of pics in these posts. never lasts long for tummy time - usually just falls asleep 15 lb 6 oz at 2 months - he is literally off the charts  It's been so nice adding a person to our household - being a family of four is...

Our sweet baby-but-really-toddler Natalie Jane is a couple days shy of being 16 months! It's weird to think that this time last year she really was just a little baby and now she's running around, talking and playing. She was sick last week so we had some rough moments...  She came out of her room crying pitifully so I followed her back in to see what was the matter, and she was upset that she couldn't climb into her crib haha. But most of the time she sat calmly on the couch with Kitty by her side. I'm glad she's feeling better now, although she's teething so we get the random outbreak of fussies here and there throughout the day. She still only has four teeth! She spends a lot of her time making messes and getting into things...  She's always been curious and observant; you can't get anything past this girl! Natsby loves playing peekaboo, hide and chase, poke Stockton, and pull all the books off the bookshelf. She's constantly...

Nebraska weather is nothing if not unpredictable, so we took advantage of one crisp but not too cold afternoon at Pioneer Park.  first, we went for a walk.  the fallen leaves were like a carpet and it made for beautiful scenery. plus, this is where we got engaged! Once Natsby got bored of walking we explored the play area. This was her first real experience with slides and she was a little unsure but laughed at the bottom, eager to get up again.  Natalie has always liked swinging - her face is so joyful and exuberant! taking a breather Natalie was not pleased when it was time to go, but we got a smile eventually.
