Outstanding Koalas

I got to go to Natalie's classroom today to watch the 2nd graders present their animal research projects. It was SO cute and sweet! All of the kids were so nervous but they all got up there and did their thing. Natalie chose to research koala bears and she definitely learned a lot about them!

Claire did a good job hanging out while we watched all of the presentations. She likes to check things out but always stays close to me. I wonder if she will be the same way when she is walking?

It made me so proud and happy to see my girl in this setting. She is doing so well at school! She is so pretty and kind and curious and bright-eyed. Watching her feels kind of like watching the me of the past. I don't feel old enough to have a 2nd grader! I love her so much.

She was so excited to show me her clay koala in her diorama, and she was thrilled to show Claire off to her friends. She is so happy at school!

Her teacher, Mrs. Spilker, is very supportive and enthusiastic for helping Natalie learn. She has been a great teacher for Natalie!

We got to eat lunch in the cafeteria and Claire LOVED Natalie's mac n cheese. It was such a fun morning to spend together supporting my Natsby! She is growing up so fast but also is so cute and little and fun. She is a shining star and I am so proud of her!
