Memorial Day

 Memorial Day was nice and quiet. Austin played basketball in the morning and then we made a picnic for Pioneer Park with Makae. Austin was a good sport to get close to the water in those long wet soggy weeds...Makae and I were like nahh.

 My blonde boys : ) 

 We played at the playground after we were done exploring, and then we came home for CHORES. We went through the toys and books in the basement and got rid of two garbage bags full! It was glorious. Then we tackled a project that I've been wanting to get to for over two years: washing the dusty, dirty wall of the house in the carport. The difference was incredible! It was super easy to clean, too, because it really was just dirt and dust. It was almost as if the wall was grateful we were freshening it up, finally!
