Claire at 10 months

I've heard youngest siblings complain about not having enough pictures of themselves as babies, but I don't think Claire will ever have to worry about that! We are just so delighted by this precious babe...I try to capture her curiosity and light through pictures and it's not the same as being with her in person but we will remember anyway.

She is getting so active - she crawls around everywhere and still likes rolling, too. She knows how to do a high five, wave, clap, and, our personal favorite, thumbs up. She says "aaayyyy!" for "yay" when she's clapping, and she's been saying Dada for at least a month.

We would love it if she would sleep for longer stretches, both during nap time at at night. She was sleeping better when she was younger, and now she kind of lost her mojo a little bit. Still, she isn't as bad as our other babies with sleep, so we can't complain too much. She still wakes up to eat at night like three times, so we're working on that.

through some hard boredom times haha

practicing that thumbs up!

I stopped nursing in December when Claire was between 9-10 months old. It was a good transition for both of us, and the same timing pretty much that I stopped nursing in the past. We're still grateful that Claire has taken a bottle so well her whole life - with three babies that absolutely REFUSED bottle feeding, it's been so nice that it hasn't been a struggle with Claire.

She still prefers Mom and Dad to anyone else (although she does love her siblings and lights up when they get home from school). I think she's getting a little less anxious around other people though. She likes baths, cereal, soft pretzels, orange juice (Natalie always sneaks her little sips), and being cozy with blankies. She does not like getting dressed, being left in the carseat for too long, or her bink when she is mad. She grabs it and throws it as hard as she can haha.

We are loving our time with sweet Claire. So grateful she is ours!
