A Tour of Lincoln

The week before we moved, we asked Grandma to come babysit so we could go on our first official date in months! The city was (is) still in quarantine so we couldn't really go inside anywhere, but we drove around and took pictures of the places that held special meaning for us in Lincoln. It was so fun and sad at the same time thinking of all these happy memories, and thinking about leaving them behind. Jack's Birthday

I went back through my pictures making sure I got everything and realized that I never posted about Jack's birthday! He turned 5 on April 24th and had a great day.  (But first, some pictures of two separate visits to Big Jack's house. Max and Alissa visited, which was super fun, and we all had dinner together. A few days later Jack/Sara and Max/Alissa came up to Lincoln for another dinner all together, and it was so great to spend that time with family!!) I am grateful for all the positive memories that they have with him so that even when we're far away, they will always remember our fun times together.  Jack got a tee and a baseball bat for his birthday and practiced SO much, it was so cute. His perseverance and drive to accomplish his goals is very inspiring.
