I am amused by the coronavirus memes. It helps keep things light in such a weird/scary/unprecedented situation.
Also, this popped up in my memories the other day and it made me so happy. Giant UNO with the Stauffers. We are STARVED for friend time! We miss all of them so much. It's especially unfortunate timing since we're getting ready to move, and we can't even spend our last few months together!
bro time: walkie talkies and reading
Claire has recently become very interested in books, and it's very cute! Natalie really likes reading to her, which is very sweet.
We are all desperate for some sort of VARIETY in this quarantined life, so one day we rode bikes/scooters/strollers to the church. It was a blast! The kids asked to go again the very next day, which we did, but then the weather turned cold for a spell and we haven't done it since. Trying to stay together/cross streets/not get run over it takes maybe 15 minutes to get to the church.
Glorious SPACE!! We've been cooped up in our house/yard for so long that even this sparse parking lot felt luxurious. We turned on some fun music and danced in the courtyard.
"Hand Clap" by Fitz and the Tantrums, choreography by the Poulsen children
even this bike rack was exciting....they got a good ten minutes out of it
Jack gathers skinny sticks from a little tree in the backyard with lots of little branches and calls them his "shrimp" and it is so cute and funny haha. This isn't a very clear picture but they do actually look kind of like shrimp, like the one in Finding Nemo.
Claire LOVES to roam outside. She never gets too far but she enjoys her freedom.
Jack put a dandelion all over his nose and was excited to show me, cutie.
