A Book for Natalie

I think with a combo of moving, new friend dynamics, lack of social activities at church/school, and reading some *dramatic* books (i.e. Dork Diaries where the character feels like "everyone hates her" and "she's a loser") Natalie was feeling kind of down on herself. We had lots of hugs about it but ultimately I figured it was an adjustment period and it would naturally right itself, which it has by now. I made this little book for her when she was going through this phase of low self-esteem to remind her that she can try hard, she is beautiful, and she is capable. It is so important for children to feel LOVED and HEARD and TRIUMPHANT, and it made me sad to see Natalie so hard on herself.
