Claire is becoming more feisty as she grows into her toddlership. She is easy going until she needs or wants something and then she DEMANDS it haha. She loves holding her animals at the farm and pretending to have them eat. It is very very cute.
She is pretty independent and plays well in lots of situations. She definitely prefers to be close to whatever I'm doing around the house though.
Claire is FINALLY walking! Once she decided it was time, she didn't look back. She toddles all around now and it is so cute. She even practices running, which is as cute as it sounds. She literally stops, steels herself, and "runs" (basically just walks a little faster but looks very focused) toward her goal. We love it haha.
She's my little kitchen "helper" although we all know how "helpful" babies are when making dinner.
She hates shoes. With a passion. It was 90 degrees and HOT at the park one day and I was tired of holding her, so I forced her to keep her shoes on and she screamed for a full 20 minutes. The other two families at the park left because she was so loud and annoying. She finally calmed down when I put her on the bench with water and a baby bottle pop. She still gets mad when we put shoes on and pretty much refuses to walk in them (stubbornly), but it's marginally improving.
She looked so cute, sniffling after her fit and trading off between water and candy.
She is sleeping a little better, sometimes not waking up at night at all, but she still wakes up before 6 most mornings. She is a fuzzy, sweet, loving, happy girl and we love her so so much. She LOVES playing outside and getting dirty, and she is our least picky eater by a long shot. She adores her siblings, although when she needs her space she makes it very clear to them haha. It's strange to watch her grow and know that she's almost not a baby anymore. (As our last, I am holding on to her babiness as long as possible!)
