We're here! We made it! The move we've been talking about since July (and solidified since October) finally happened! And we are so happy : )
Our rental house is at the bottom of Golden Hill Street (which sealed the deal on picking this house, honestly...isn't it the cutest street name?) It has this fabulous front porch with subtle patriotic colors and brick (and we added Memorial Day bunting!). It know it's not the nicest house in the world but it feels like a BIG step up from our previous rental. A screen door that closes? No horrible carpet/brittle blinds/tiny fridge/leaky basement/shabby walls? SPACE for everything, everything in its place? It's fabulous.

making biscuits with Mimi
I think Stockton had 14 corndogs in our first week here haha. And now he won't touch them (after I restocked with a huge box at Sam's Club.)
Mimi putting together shelves and teaching Natalie how to hammer..."the secret is confidence!"
We came home from the grocery store one night and I was so happy and grateful to see our cozy glowy new home : )
breakfast casserole with Mimi and PopPop!
Walking to the catwalk with PopPop....my siblings and I LOVED walking here!
Living room gradually coming together.....new rug, new clock, new TV, new tv stand/bookshelf...
After several busy, long days of getting the house all put together, Austin and I played a great game of Patchwork.
Claire loves pulling books out and flipping through them, and the kids loved having Mimi here as our resident book reader.

new coat rack/shoe bench! and the contents of a 7 year old's purse
ta daaa! the finished product. I'm so happy with it. It finally feels like a space that I am proud of.
Sand box, tree climbing, porch time
Here is a picture tour of at least the upstairs...it was refreshing to just take pictures when I thought about it and not feel like I had to tidy up:

Jessup Elementary, where my brothers and I went to school as kids! SO fun to be back here. I can't believe my kids will go to my same elementary school, and that we live in the same neighborhood. So cool. I LOVE this big open Wyoming sky!
^^this is at the top of Golden Hill, facing up the hill where my family lived 20 years ago. We literally live around the corner from where I lived for 4 years. So crazy!! My brothers and I walked down this hill every day to school.
Home sweet home. It has been so great. We love it here! (Except for the moths. But we don't have humidity, so......I'll definitely take the moths.)
