Getting into the Routine

Things I love about Cheyenne:
I haven't driven more than 15 minutes to get anywhere that I need to go
IT ISN'T HUMID
The air is crisp and clean and clear (see above^^)
Our wood floors and red door and nice windows and new colorful rug and not clutter everywhere
The playgrounds are open!!
A bigger, new fridge
Being so much closer to my parents in Utah
The pine trees and old west feel
Austin loves his job and enjoys his coworkers
The constant breeze through our open windows

Things I don't like:
Way higher cost of living (like, whyy?!) rent, groceries, utilities, freaking splash pad...everything is higher
Moths
No A/C
Our Lincoln friends don't live here

Claire has taken to putting her blankie over her head and body and crawling around like this. She looks so cute and also terrifying hahaha, some sort of blue alien monster.

Jack drew the purple minions from Despicable Me 2

My lunch buddy. Sometimes all I want is some alone time, but other times it's very cute to have little conversation companions wherever I go.

My beautiful girls

Jack was VERY proud of catching this grasshopper. He loves all insects and animals and isn't afraid at all. I have to remind him to be careful though because he gets too rough without realizing he's hurting the bugs.
Natalie reading "The Tail of Emily Windsnap"...sometimes she goes on reading kicks, other times it's like pulling teeth to get her to sit down with a book.

"Mom! Take a picture of me with this grasshopper!"

I love how Claire is looking at Natalie ^^

Natalie is holding the Jarritos Pina bottle that I accidentally left in the freezer, then took out the next day when I remembered and cut open to make pineapple slushies, which were amazing.

Austin was so full after our parmesan chicken/basil cream sauce/mashed potatoes feast that he literally fell asleep at the table like this.

Another little buddy found me again and wanted to have a snack and a chat ^^

Jack keeps saying that he wants to learn to read, but when I try to teach him he really just wants to point things out to me and have me tell him cool facts from his science book. It's very cute. It will be really fun when he can read for himself and share his own facts with me. I keep trying to help Stockton do some reading at home but he is staunchly uninterested. It's hard for him to do "school" stuff at home, and he considers reading a school thing.

Claire loves climbing into chairs. She never stays for long but it is so cute when she just sits there calmly in the sunshine. She has been doing much better at walking this weekend!

More of her blankie excursions haha, little ghostie
